KYOCERA ECHO M9300 HARD RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS PROCEDURES

These is the step by step procedures on how to hard reset the Kyocera M9300 ECHO  with Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo), 1GHz Scorpion processor, Qualcomm QSD 8650 Snapdragon.
Please note: Performing a factory reset is only advisable if you want to return back the phone to its original factory default settings and also fix some abnormal functions of the device.
Just make a back up copy of all your personal data before proceeding because the result of this process will delete all data you previously installed on the device. 
This is a simple guide if you want to return the device to its original factory settings again.

Factory data reset of Kyocera M9300 ECHO:

1. On the main home screen, select menu
2. Select Settings, then Privacy
3. Select Factory data reset
4. Select Reset phone
5. Enter the password if prompted, then confirm by selecting Erase everything

Kyocera M9300 ECHO Hard reset, this may help if the phone experience some hang or frozen on some applications:

1. Turn the phone's power off. Take the battery out from the device, wait a couple of seconds and reinsert it back again.
2. Now, Hold the Volume Down button
3. Then press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
4. A menu will show up like: Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
5. Just select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Then press and release the Power button
7. Select Volume Up if YES and Volume Down for NO

Once the reset process is complete, the phone will then reboot to its factory fresh state settings.
Any data including third-party applications previously stored from the Kyocera M9300 ECHO already wiped or deleted.

HTC DROID INCREDIBLE 2 HARD RESET PROCEDURE

This is the steps and procedures on how to factory reset the HTC DROID Incredible 2 to clear all data and restore its original settings.

Note: Just make a back up copy of all of the important data stored or installed on the HTC DROID Incredible 2 before proceeding. The result of these process will delete and wipe all data that is stored on the device. However, this may or may not harm the data stored on the microSD card.

   1. On Home Screenselect MENU

MOTOROLA XPRT HARD RESET, WIPE DATA CACHE AND RESTORE TO ORIGINAL FACTORY SETTING

Here's the step by procedure on how to Factory reset Motorola XPRT to wipe data cache and restore it to original factory default settings. Just follow the simple instruction below, and please back-up all importantdata stored or installed on the device before proceedings.. 

Motorola XPRT Factory Reset through Menu Settings: This will simply Reset your device into factory default settings.

From the main HOME SCREEN, 
->select MENU 
->select Settings, 
->select PRIVACY
->select FACTORY DATA RESET
->select RESET PHONE
->Enter PASSWORD if prompted
->select ERASE EVERYTHING

 Motorola XPRT Hard reset through button combination, this will prompt you into recovery mode.
this may help if the Motorola XPRT is frozen,hang or unresponsive. 

   1. Turn the power off or remove the battery and reinsert it back again after a couple of seconds. 
   2. Press and hold the POWER+CAMERA buttons together
   3. Release the Camera button when prompted
   4. Press and hold the Volume Down key
   5. It will show a yellow exclamation mark
   6. Select the Wipe data/factory reset (Alt + W) option

GOOGLE NEXUS S HARD RESET INSTRUCTION AND PROCEDURE

Here's the simple instruction on how to factory reset the Google Nexus S to wipe and clear all data and restore to its original factory default settings.

Please be aware that the result of this process will delete all data stored from the Google Nexus S. However, this process may or may not delete the data stored on the microSD memory card. We highly advise to have back up all of your personal data first before you may proceed.

Here's how to hard reset the Google Nexus S with step by step instructions.

Do this through Menu Settings first:

   1. On the Main Home Screenselect Menu
   2. Select Settings, then Privacy
   3. Select Factory Data Reset
   4. Select Reset Phone
   5. Enter the Password if prompted, then select Erase Everything

If the  Google Nexus S is Frozen and the above procedure doesn't work, you may try to hard reset it through button combination.
Here's how:

   1. Shut down the Power Off.Pull the battery out and reinsert it back again
   2. Hold the Volume Down button
   3. Press and release the Power button
   4. You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
   5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
   6. Press and release the Power button
   7. Then confirm: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

If the above procedures doesn't work, use this other android hard reset method below,

1. Shut Down Google Nexus S

2. Now press the Volume up, Home and Power button together.

3. When the Symbol shows up release the power.

4. Then there is a boot Menu. Use the volume up/down to choose and home to select.

Once the wipe or reset process is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state. All the data stored including third-party applications will be deleted from the Google Nexus S.

HTC DREAM HARD RESET PROCEDURES

HTC Dream Hard Reset Procedure





1. Turn the G1 off. If it’s frozen on, take the battery out and put it back in the unit.

2. Hold the Home and Power keys down at same time for about 25 seconds. You will see a yellow triangle screen with exclamation point in the
middle.

Now to wipe the device clean:

3. Press Alt+L.
4. Press Alt+W for a factory reset.
5. Press the Home and Back keys again for about 25 seconds.
The device should then reset again and the hard reset is complete.

Tip

HTC DREAM SOFT RESET

A soft reset clears the device memory and closes running applications. Perform a soft reset when your device hangs or freezes, is running slower than normal, or an application is not performing properly. If a soft reset is performed when applications are running, unsaved information will be lost.
To perform a soft reset
1. Remove the back cover.
2. Remove the battery for a few seconds.
3. Re-install the battery, replace the back cover, then turn on the device

To remove the back cover
1. Make sure the device is turned off.
2. Hold the device sideways with the control buttons on the right.
3. Slide the screen panel up to reveal the keyboard and the back cover release tab.
4. Gently push down the release tab with your finger until the back cover disengages from the device.
5. Pull the back cover out then set it aside.

MOTOROLA DEXT FACTORY RESET
